Eva and Dan fell in love with the Gallaher Mansion at Cranberry Park while searching for a venue for their wedding reception. They loved the historic mansion and pretty gardens and decided to say "Yes" to the Mansion. 

​

Gayle worked with the couple and the groom's mother on the many details involved in putting together a wedding at a venue where everything must be brought onsite. Timing of load-in, set-up and wedding start time was critical to the success of the wedding since the couple had contracted a set amount of hours they could rent the venue.

​

Devout vegetarians, Eva and Dan chose to have a vegetarian reception. A caterer was brought in from NYC and a unique vegetarian menu was planned. The couple dedicated each table to an animal in their life.  A custom sign with a little story about each animal was placed atop every floral centerpiece.

​

The ceremony included both Jewish and Chinese traditions and the bride changed into traditional Chinese wedding attire during the reception.

​

Cocktails were planned on the large terrace overlooking the gardens. With no protection from the sun or possible inclement weather, Gayle suggested tenting over the terrace. With weather unpredictable in Connecticut, it turned out to be a very hot day and the shaded terrace was a very comfortable place for guests to mingle and enjoy cocktails.

​

It was a pleasure working with Eva, Dan and their families to make their wedding dreams come true!
