Gayle's client, Leslie, had a theme and vision in mind; a fall corporate retirement party for her fiancé, with colleagues, friends and family joining the festivities.

 

A fall decor theme was requested by Leslie and Gayle found the perfect, local floral designer for the job. Centerpieces consisted of carved pumpkins filled with local, fall flowers.  The head table, where the guest of honor was seated, had a more elaborate centerpiece which incorporated fairy lights and branches with dried leaves scattered on the table.

Favors for the approximately 90 guests consisted of mini Prosecco bottles and custom labeled chocolate bars, some with almonds, the guest of honor's favorite. Gayle packaged each favor in clear bags tied with a satin ribbon and custom label. Gayle spent many hours designing the perfect candy bar wrapper and label for the favor.

There were a number of surprises that took place during the evening. These included a flash mob dance, rehearsed secretly by Leslie and her fiancés colleagues. The other BIG surprise was an impromptu wedding ceremony between Leslie and her fiancé, now husband! With all their guests in attendance, they decided it was the perfect time to go for it, after many years of partnership.

A beautiful buffet dinner was served to the guests and dessert included a custom vanilla and buttercream sheet cake, the now husband's, favorite. 

​

It was such a pleasure and honor to help Leslie with this very special occasion! I wish them much happiness on their marriage and retirement!
